On this 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings we were honored to escort 24 fantastic Bucketeers on a two-week tour of France, including a stop at Omaha and Utah Beaches in Normandy. Our travels took us to Mt St Michel, Paris, the Loire Valley, Versailles and the cities along the Rhone River. Our next group will depart in August for Norway and the Baltic Capitals. Italy’s Infiorata Flower Festivals

Imagine a colorful sidewalk mosaic with incredible detail that lasts only for a few hours.

This coming weekend, with the celebration of Corpus Christi in Italy, various cities and towns will celebrate the feast day with sidewalk flower petal art festivals – Infiorata. Beautiful images made with flower petals, coffee grounds, grass, wood chips and beans will take over the sidewalks and even streets in front of churches. At the conclusion of Sunday... High Mass the procession routes will proceed over the carpet of flowers.
