We have added a new Bucketeer hosted trip to Israel and Egypt for October 2024 as well as a Southern Caribbean and a Panama Canal cruise for February 2025. These last two can be linked as a “Back-to-Back” cruise with added discounts. After three years of being closed to tourists, Tunisia, one of the Mediterranean’s most affordable destinations, has dropped all vaccination and pre-entry COVID test requirements. Face masks are still required in some indoor spaces. Beyond the world-class beaches, the island of Djerba, connected by a four-mile causeway to the mainland being most notable, tourists can indulge in amateur archeology at many of Tunisia’s best-preserved monuments, such as the ruins of legendary Carthage and the Roman era Amphitheater of El Jam, the Medina of Tunis and the medieval fortress of Ribat. There are even tours to the Star Wars sets and filming locations.

Snoopy is making the ultimate Bucketeer trip as he heads back to Earth this weekend having orbited the moon for several weeks orbit onboard the new Orion capsule. His role has been to be a zero-G sensor for the engineers guiding the test flight. Go, Snoopy, GO!
