Rocky Mountaineer New USA Route

This morning, Rocky Mountaineer announced a new route in the United States for travel in 2021.

The “Rockies to the Red Rocks” route will be a two-day train journey between Denver, Colorado, and Moab, Utah, [ or reverse ] with an overnight stay in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, a resort city in Colorado [ elevation 5,761’ ] known for its hot springs.

The two-day rail journeys, including a one-night hotel accommodation in Glenwood Springs, will start from $1,250 USD plus tax per person.

You will journey through two days of extraordinary landscapes. Vast canyons, inspiring deserts, natural archways and enchanting hoodoos are just a start, a rail route is filled with highlights best seen by train, including Ruby Canyon, Mount Logan and crossing the Continental Divide.

For the 2021 preview season, Rocky Mountaineer will offer 40 departures across 10 weeks from August 15 to October 23, 2021, before launching a full five-month season schedule for 2022 and beyond. Guests will travel in SilverLeaf Service coaches and enjoy the complete Rocky Mountaineer experience, including onboard storytelling, premium cuisine, compelling scenery, and social atmosphere in a custom-designed glass-dome coach.
